Critique
Several stories within a story. Moves between 18th century and current times. Highlights the settlers move west into North Carolina and imparts a strong sense of the history and spirit of these inhabitants who settled in this beautiful region of the country. Historical and contemporary at the same time. A very enjoyable, pleasant story.
