Summary
Estranged from her family, Lex Cavanaugh returns to Connecticut after receiving an e-mail from her nephew, Jared, saying that his 10-year-old sister Calista has been murdered. Lex must deal with many layers of old family secrets to uncover the culprit and protect her nephew.
Critique
Striking similarities to the JonBenet Ramsey case. Not fast-paced, but, rather, a deeply psychological investigation of a family's secrets. Keeps you guessing. Lex and Jared are complex characters. Recommend.
