Summary

Critique
Wow! A great first novel. Has the dark atmosphere of a Raymond Chandler or Ross MacDonald mystery. Literate--first-person narrative keeps the reader guessing as to character's sanity. Gilder was a presidential speech writer. Highly recommend.
