Summary
Clay is a youngish public defender who is stagnant in his career and love life. An accidental circumstance puts him in charge of defending a black male drug addict accused of murder. This leads him to uncover a pharmaceutical conspiracy and ultimately become a class-action lawsuit attorney.
Critique
Grisham is the `King of Legal Suspense` authors, however, this book does not reign as his most accomplished work. While the subject matter is intriguing, dialogue is often stretched and the characters are not quite believable. I look forward to Grisham getting back on track and showing his true talents.
