Summary
Another cozy mystery in the Grace and Favor series. This time murder is committed at Lily and Robert's hotel/boarding house. The victim is an unethical religious leader with plenty of enemies.
Critique
This book continues the story of brother and sister Robert and Lily Brewster who have been left poor by the Depression. Although not as well defined as Braun's Cat Who series, we are beginning to get to know several community members. The slow progression of the characters might be the author's way of reflecting the pace of that time. Not quite as captivating as earlier books in the series, this is still enjoyable. Easy read.
