Georgian homesteaders Ethan and Epsey Pratt and their neighbors Kindred and Mavis Morris are unwillingly swept up in the American Revolution against the British.
Critique
Although the dialogue is a little stiff and the reading is slow, this is a fascinating, well-researched novel about the American Revolution and its effects on the South. The fictional characters blend well with the historical characters. Recommend.
