Summary
While staying with her longtime boyfriend and re-examining her life as a lawyer, Nina Reilly is asked by her former secretary to help defend her son who has become a prime suspect in a murder and arson investigation.
Critique
Ninth in the series and each one is better than the first! Nina is a well-developed, complex, and sympathetic character who tries to balance her personal life with that of her professional one. The relationships are very believable. Highly recommend.
