Critique
Christopher Paolini was fifteen when he wrote this novel. Overall, the story line is strong, but there are moments when the author's age does show in wordiness and the lack of emotional depth. This is the first in the proposed Inheritance Trilogy. This will be an author and a series to watch. Recommended reading.
