Summary
While Carolyn Sullivan, a parole officer, re-examines the 23-year-old murder case of her latest parolee because she believes he is innocent of murder, she uncovers police corruption and other political coverups that put her life in danger.
Critique
Fast-paced with lots of twists and turns in the plot. The reader can identify with Carolyn Sullivan as she struggles to balance her work, family life, and going to law school all at the same time. Highly recommend.
