Summary
Philomena `Philo` Nolan, a 240-pound housewife with five children and an abusive husband, decides she has had enough and is determined to make a better life for herself. When the loud, opinionated, and foul-mouthed Philo leaves home, she's bound to shake things up in the Dublin convent where she seeks temporary refuge.
Critique
A raunchy, funny, and bawdy good time. Plenty of likeable and colorful characters. Recommend.
