Summary
Southern charm, sharp insight, and a way with the opposite sex make the Belle women something special. Even the 1920s may not have been progressive enough to handle the likes of Charlotte or Angela Belle.
Critique
Wonderful use of language, strong sense of place and time, and unique female characters all blend together seamlessly to create one powerful story. Novels like this are few and far between. Enjoy. Audio version very well-done, too. Highly recommend.
