Summary
Sylvia really wants to ignore Christmas this year at Elm Creek Manor, the family home she inherited and returned to after fifty long years. Sarah, Sylvia's quilting school partner, and her husband want to spend the holiday with Sylvia and insist on all of the trimmings. Sarah retrieves old holiday decorations stored in the attic along with a Christmas quilt that was never finished decades earlier.
Critique
This novel takes place a year and a half after The Quilter's Apprentice (1999). A charming story of memories, love and family.
