Summary
Julie Berman's happy life has suddenly taken a nasty turn. Her college-aged daughter has fallen in love with her professor and plans to go abroad with him. Her son, a high school student, is showing a very strong interest in the opposite sex. Julie is finding the handsome editor of the local newspaper very charming. If all of the above isn't enough, Julie finds out that her mother has cancer. Will Julie ever again have a calm and peaceful life?
Critique
A debut novel that is a winner. There are gems of wisdom to be found in this funny and touching story. Recommend.
