Summary
Lawyer Hallie Pierpont looks forward to the empty nest she and her husband, Bill, will share once their daughter is enrolled at Yale. Bill has other plans that do not include Hallie, but his new, younger girlfriend. As she tries to rebuild her life, Hallie decides to track down her ex-boyfriends, the ones she didn't marry. The trip down memory lane brings Hallie happiness and a new outlook on life.
Critique
Janice Kaplan and Lynn Schnurnberger reunite for a fast-paced, humorous read about second chances in life. As Hallie rebounds from Bill's shocking announcement, she discovers that her past becomes her present. Highly recommend. A perfect beach read.
