Summary
Max de Winter takes his new wife to Manderley, his isolated home on the Cornish coast, where his sinister housekeeper frightens the young woman with her devotion to the dead Mrs. de Winter, Rebecca. All too soon, the second Mrs. de Winter realizes that Rebecca's lingering evil presence is capable of reaching from beyond the grave.
Critique
