Two families' lives are forever interwoven after a tragic traffic accident in 1957 leaves one family without a father and another that forces two brothers to live with their domineering, controlling grandfather.
Critique
This is the author's first novel in four years. A heartwarming and tender story with the reader perhaps needing a tissue or two at the end. Well-developed and sympathetic characters. The reader will find it interesting to see how these characters mature and change through the years. Highly recommend.
