Summary
In New York City, enrolling their children into the right preschool has become the obsession of the social crowd. Laura is thrilled when her daughter Anna wins a scholarship to the prestigious - and very expensive - Metropolitan Preschool. When a series of events at the preschool cause mothers to turn against each other, Laura becomes obsessed with fitting in and revealing the secrets around her.
Critique
Readers will be amused by this charming story of an underdog parent fighting the politics of the school and the wealthy parents. Quirky and entertaining, this novel appeals to anyone who is on the outside looking in.
