Critique
Both young adult and adult readers will revel in Oates' telling of a young woman whose life is shattered. Jenna makes many questionable choices and is often a frustrating character, which makes her story all the more realistic. A wonderful story that is appropriate for teens or adults hoping to heal from a loss.
