Summary
Jason Wilder is the junior member of the Midnight Agency, a private investigation firm headed by his mother, the `Queen` Victoria Wilder. Jason is in a rush to get to his hot date one night and turns away a potential client, Elijah Messenger, a man who believes he will be killed. When Messenger turns up dead the next morning, Victoria puts Jason in charge of the case, and Jason must enter the world of cults and rituals to find out what happened.
Critique
A fast-paced mystery filled with twists, turns and secret identities. Jason is a likeable P.I. and his witty banter with his mother and his funny sleuthing friends make this a very readable and enjoyable mystery. Recommend.
