Summary
Archaeologist Dr. Daria McGowan is asked by Howe University to work on the first public exhibit of her grandfather's excavation of the ancient city of Shandihar. Once she starts the work, she finds there are several missing antiquities from the collection. With the help of FBI agent Connor Shields, she is determined to track down the missing pieces even though she finds her own life in danger.
Critique
This is the author's final volume of her Last trilogy. Although the story starts out slowly, the pace picks up midway through as Daria and Connor play a cat and mouse game with the killer. The author includes some fascinating information about archaeology. Highly recommend.
