Summary
London police detective Alisha Barba is a Sikh woman who's recovering from a back injury incurred in the line of duty in a previous book `Lost.` She receives a note from an estranged high school friend saying she's in trouble leading Alisha into a maze of illegal baby selling and covert adoptions stretching from London to Amsterdam.
Critique
Third in a series, but can stand alone. A well-plotted, complex mystery, but has some social message overtones concerning illegal adoptions and the plight of Afghani refugees. Very interesting and recommended but not for those who don't want a good dose of reality in their story line.
