Summary
After her corgis lead her to a bookmobile and she checks out a book, Queen Elizabeth is swept into the world of reading and literature, seeing the world with newly opened eyes. This throws the palace routine into a bit of a fit as the queen no longer views her royal obligations as quite so fulfilling and leads her to a decision that may alter the monarchy.
Critique
A sweet little book, slyly funny, about the pleasures and rapture of reading. A quick and pleasurable read. Recommended.
