Summary
Sisters Stephanie and Melanie lead vastly different lives: Stephanie is married with a new baby in the suburbs, and Melanie is a single city girl and restaurant critic. Beginning a new diet together leads to a falling out that forces them to question their relationships and assumptions.
Critique
This novel is a look at the choices that adults make and the thoughts of Stephanie and Melanie as they look at their lives. This makes the book somewhat slow moving, but the charming characters and the appearance of a cute dog make the book a worthwhile read.
