Summary
Wyoming cowboy Rowdy Talbot rides bulls for a living, lives by the cowboy code, would never hit a woman, and does not lie. When Rowdy wins his first trophy, a belt buckle, he quickly loses it to a couple of French girls who seduce him. The girls return to Paris and Rowdy follows in search of his buckle. There, Rowdy is mistaken for a CIA agent and uncovers a plot to sabotage corporate America's takeover of French culture.
Critique
A funny and adventurous cowboy romp. With cowboy lore and Southern slang, Rowdy's fish-out-of-water story has something for everyone--barroom brawls, satire, bitter expatriates and nights of wild sex. For readers who aren't afraid of naughty fun.
