Summary
One minute they're there and the next, gone. Everyone over the age of fourteen disappears without a reason and soon it's clear they're not coming back. The town kids and the kids from an elite private school nearby are the sole survivors. Unless you count the unexplainably mutating animals. Can these teens learn how to care for themselves and the younger kids in time or are they just drawing out their end?
Critique
Personal drama, scary suspense, and the strange unknown are the key elements that make this book so fun to read. This is first of a new series and provides the promise for more edge-of-your-seat excitement. Highly recommended read.
