Summary
The Darcys are not the only ones taken by surprise by Anne de Bourgh's questionable elopement and marriage with Henry Crawford. Lady Catherine is beyond words at the news and forces both her nephews, Mr. Darcy and Colonel Fitzwilliam, to retrieve the couple, with herself and Elizabeth to follow. As all the couples reunite, Mr. Crawford is revealed to be extremely feckless in his affections. When he goes missing, the suspects are endless and the Darcy's begin their sleuthing.
Critique
Another great blending of Austen's characters from different titles into one new story. The mystery is clever with plenty to keep a reader guessing. Highly recommended read.
