Critique
Elegant prose and a well-plotted mystery make this a very enjoyable read. There were some moments of excessive description, but overall an interesting depiction of Oxford and the Victorian era. Second in a series, Finch adds shadings to his amateur sleuth that make him and this mystery even more appealing.
