Summary
The war with the Formics is over and all of the Bugs are dead, so what is Ender (Andrew Wiggins), the 12-year-old military genius who commanded Earth's forces, going to do? He cannot go back to Earth, so Ender and his sister Valentine decide to become colonists to help begin to settle new worlds.
Critique
This book can either be considered the 10th book in the Ender series or the second. It takes place at the end of Ender's Game (book 1), actually between chapters 14 and 15, but it covers a time span of approximately 50 years in which the events in the books in the rest of the series come to fruition. The Ender series runs the gamut between excellent and mediocre, but Ender in Exile is extremely good. I recommend reading Enderís Game before this book. Highly recommend.
