Summary
Cliques abound at an exclusive private girls school in New York's wealthy Westchester county. Massie is the new girl who just wants to fit in with the other seventh graders. Her father recently lost his job and has moved the family into the guest house of his college friend. Her host family's daughter, Massie, just so happens to be queen of the A-listers at Claire's school. Her parents push her to befriend Claire, and she rebels by bad mouthing her in school. Claire retaliates by doing the same, and a series of backbiting, pranks, and social humiliation ensues.

Critique
Teen girls are eating this series up. This is the first title, and it has just been released on DVD. Harrison used to work for MTV and understands what appeals to the mean girl mentality.
