Summary
After the attacks of September 11th, Dutch immigrant Hans van den Broek's wife leaves him and returns to England. As he tries to make sense of his life, he moves into a hotel, joins a cricket club of West Indians, and meets Chuck Ramkissoon, a mysterious immigrant from Trinidad with grand dreams of bringing cricket to the U.S.
