Summary
So many things are going wrong at the University of Notre Dame. The once unbeatable football team is experiencing their worst season ever under coach Charlie Weis. There's also a vocal alumni movement concerned about the secularization of the ND faculty. However, the most distressing development occurs when an alumnus is found dead on the golf course. It seems an apparent suicide, but P.I. Phil Knight is called in to investigate when evidence is found suggesting murder.

Critique
Brotherly love, filial loyalty, and a desire for revenge set the stage for murder in this 12th mystery in the University of Notre Dame series. Readers can count on Ralph McInerny to write an intelligent and thought-provoking mystery. Highly recommend.
