Summary
The assassination of two high-ranking government officials has triggered an intense manhunt for Oliver Stone. While fleeing, he chances upon a backwater town, which is anything but peaceful and isolated. The amalgamation of events which he encounters, exacerbated by his own precarious circumstances, will sorely essay the disparate mettle of the Camel Club as they race to find and protect him.

Critique
Baldacci is a practiced writer who minds the details. While mining the reader's emotions through multiple layers of plotting, he exposes an engaging lode of both sympathetic and loathsome characters. Highly recommended.
