Summary
Austin, Texas strata-climbing socialite Blythe Young is made penniless by her divorce, thanks to her meddling mother-in-law's insistence on a pre-nup agreement. Slightly disgraced and more than slightly addicted to pharmaceuticals, Blythe returns to catering, her former career, with disastrous results. Friendless and running from the IRS, Blythe is forced to move back into the boardinghouse she lived in during college, where she hopes to enlist support from her once-best friend Millie.

Critique
Laugh-out-loud and fast-paced reading, with a sweet romance between the secondary characters. Satirical chick lit, with offbeat characters. Recommended for fans of the author and for those who don't mind a naughty leading lady. Would make a perfect beach read.
