Summary
The body of a young student has washed up on shore. The official ruling is suicide, precipitated by the use of steroids. A classmate of the victim, unwilling to accept the finding, risks his own reputation and personal safety to investigate, thereupon uncovering a link to political corruption.
Critique
Parker takes off the gloves and lands a successful punch with the aid of his formidable writing skills. While this is his second book aimed specifically at the young adult market, readers of all ages should readily appreciate its story and its messages. Recommended.
