Summary
While hosting a dinner party, Oscar Wilde suggests that his guests write down the names of persons they would murder if given the chance. When those named begin to end up dead, Oscar, whose wife Constance has been named as a potential murder victim, must race against the clock to separate those who mean harm from those who merely played his game for fun.
Critique
This second Oscar Wilde mystery is a terrific addition to a witty and memorable series. The characters of Oscar Wilde, Arthur Conan Doyle and Bram Stoker come to life in this multilayered and complex mystery. Readers will want to visit Oscar's very stylish and eclectic version of Victorian England.
