Summary
Famous concert pianist Claire Keyes takes a sabbatical to go home to Seattle and care for her twin sister, Nicole, as well as the family bakery business after being estranged from them since she was twelve. There, she finds Nicole full of bitterness, resentment and jealousy due to what she assumes is Claire's life of luxury. Nicole is also devastated because she found their younger sister in bed with her husband Drew. Eventually each sister sees that the other's life is not so idyllic and both learn that they shouldn't jump to conclusions. Claire and Nicole bond as they help each other overcome their problems and give up the sibling rivalry.
Critique
First book in the Bakery Sisters trilogy. A great, believable story full of emotion that will make you laugh and cry. The focus of the book is the sister's relationships with each other but the romantic elements are steamier than a typical Nora Roberts.
