Summary
Mystery writer and burglar-for-hire Charlie Howard is in Paris promoting his latest novel and working on his next, when he is asked to demonstrate how to break into a new acquaintance's apartment. When on the very next day, Charlie's fence Pierre tells him that he's been hired to break into that very same apartment, Charlie gets suspicious and rightly so--as Charlie has been framed for murder. Meanwhile, Victoria, Charlie's agent who's never actually seen him in person, arrives unannounced and gets involved in the caper.

Critique
This comic whodunnit is even more clever and likeable than the first installment in this series. Highly recommend.
