Summary
Matthew Patrick O'Shea has a dark side, but during the day he's a member of the Irish Guard who is desperate for his chance to carry a gun. After he blackmails his way into a police-exchange program that transfers him to New York City, the murderous psychopath O'Shea is made a partner to a violent cop, Kebar. Kebar has ties to the mob and runs the risk of bringing the ambitious O'Shea down, unless the string of women he has strangled do that first.
Critique
O'Shea gives new meaning to the words 'police brutality.' Reader beware: this is a very gritty and bloody read. Action-packed, fast-paced and with a spare, stream-of-consciousness writing style all its own, this book twists, turns and surprises until the last page. Recommend.
