Summary
Dr. Diane Fallon's INSERTment as the head of Rosewood's Crime Lab is a man with no forensic experience, but he is friends with the newly elected Mayor. It quickly becomes clear things aren't right within the police department, and Diane agrees to investigate. Now Diane needs to find out what's really going on behind the scenes, and who's really responsible for the murder of key officials.

Critique
A good plot, interesting characters, and a satisfying end will appeal to mystery readers, but the museum setting and forensic research details are what make this book unique. This may be number six in the series, but it can be read alone. Paperback original.
