Summary
John Allen dreams of becoming a cowboy. After a short stint as a gunsmith’s apprentice in Kansas, John follows his dreams to Wyoming, where unfortunately he can only find work as a blacksmith. Eventually though, John gets his chance to discover firsthand that being a cowboy is dangerous work, as he first becomes enamored with a rival rancher's daughter and then gets caught up in a war between ranchers and a deadly band of rustlers.
Critique
An old-fashioned formulaic Western with charm and atmosphere.
