Summary
Set in the mountainous mining town of Middle Swan, Colorado in 1936, 86-year-old Hennie Comfort meets newcomer 17-year-old Nit Spindle. Hennie immediately takes Nit under her wing, and they develop a wonderful friendship that sees them through thick and thin.
