Summary
A year after someone abducted Johnny Merrimon's twin sister, the police still haven't solved the case. Now, a second girl is missing and Johnny investigates on his own despite the lead detective's warning to let the case go. His snooping gets him close to the bad guys and soon Johnny's life is in danger, too.

An atmospheric and character-filled novel. John Hart again proves he is a master storyteller. Several surprises keep you guessing until the end. Highly recommend.
