Critique
While Olive may not be likeable to readers, her story certainly is. Strout describes events of ordinary life and loss eloquently. Characters are fully realized, even those that appear in a single chapter. Beautiful writing. Winner of the Pulitzer Prize in Fiction. Highly recommend.
