Summary
Ella Varner has returned to Houston to take temporary custody of her sister Tara's newborn baby boy. Ella figures that Luke's mom might have disappeared, so she begins searching for the baby's father, starting with Jack Travis. Though she quickly crosses him off the list of possible fathers, Jack becomes intrigued with Ella and the fun begins.

Critique
The quick-witted banter between Ella and Jack is great, and Ella's relationship with her nephew is touching. This third book featuring the Travis family can be read on its own, but you won't want to miss any of them. Recommended read.
