Summary
When her mentor and dear friend, Miss Edi, dies and leaves Jocelyn Minton her family estate, Jocelyn decides to move to the small town of Edilean, Virginia to settle the estate and to use that time to re-examine her own life. As Jocelyn gets involved with the town and the townspeople, she learns more about Miss Edi and her earlier life and about the terrible tragedy during World War II that changed her life forever.

Critique
Two stories in one and the first in a planned series featuring the townspeople of Edilean. A lovely, sentimental, and `feel-good` story with a happy ending. The reader may need a tissue or two by the end. Highly recommend.
