Summary
A notorious Russian defector suddenly vanishes from his London neighborhood. Because of a recent past collaboration with this gentleman, Gabriel Allon, world-class art restorer and sometime Israeli intelligence operative, is driven to find and rescue him. The challenge becomes further complicated and even more compelling with the added kidnapping of Gabriel's wife.
