Summary
Gunfighters Virgil Cole and Everett Hitch finally locate Allie French, the woman Virgil loves, working in a brothel in a small town in southern Texas. After the men rescue her, they settle in Brimstone where the two men take jobs as deputy sheriffs, and Virgil tries to repair his relationship with Allie. Unfortunately, an evil saloon owner and a corrupt preacher cause trouble for all three.

Critique
This is the third western featuring Virgil and Everett. The characters are thoroughly developed and entertaining. Loads of adventure and action. Snappy dialogue. The author is able to transport the reader back in time to life in the Old West. Highly recommend.
