Summary
When the curate William Weightman comes to work with Patrick Brontė in the poor village of Haworth, each of the talented Brontė daughters, especially headstrong Emily, is taken in with the handsome and available young man, who is in turn amazed by these very unusual, bright, and unconventional women.
Critique
Though presented as a story of the Brontė sisters, this is really Emily's story. Must read for Brontė fans. Atmospheric and compelling reading. Highly recommended.
