Summary
Myron learns that his old college flame Emily Downing's 13-year-old son needs a bone marrow transplant, and that the potential match is missing. When she asks Myron to hunt down the donor, he wants nothing to do with her. After all, she did marry the man who ended Myron's professional basketball career with a cheap shot. But then she tells Myron that he is the boy's biological father, sending him on a search that might show the donor is a notorious serial killer the FBI has been looking for.

Critique
Seventh in the Myron Bolitar series, but can stand alone. Myron is a likeable character--real, but can stand up to the bad guys. Coben's writing style is witty and makes you laugh out loud. Highly recommend the series.
