Summary
After Cleopatra and Marc Antony commit suicide, their orphaned children, twins Selene and Alexander and young Ptolemy, are taken to Rome. Ptolemy dies en route. Selene and Alexander end up at the house of Octavia, who is sister of their father's conqueror, Octavian Caesar. The children grow to adulthood in the new environment but are never certain about their safety or their future.

Critique
The third entry in the `Ancient Egypt Series` by Michelle Moran offers lots of history, lots of action, and a little romance. Recommend.
